3.3 High borosilicate glass is heretofore the most ideal material in the world that that can be used to making chemical antiseptic equipment, pipe fitting and lab-used glass instrument. 3.3 high borosilicate glass is short for borosilicate glass with expansion coefficient at (3.3±0.1)×10-6/K-1 , it is addressed as Pyex glass internationally.
Stipulations of international standard IS03587: glass fitting and glass fitting used for chemical utilities should adopt 3.3 high borosilicate glass.
Glass pipe and facilities in Nantong Sanjing Company all adopt international standard 3.3 borosilicate glass for production and manufacturing.
Heat-resistance quality
Glass is a poor conductor and brittle material, but 3.3 borosilicate glass is different for its chemical components contain 12.7% of B2O3 which largely improves its thermal stability.
IS03587 specifications:
For high borosilicate glass with diameter < Φ100mm, its heat-resistance temperature is no higher than 120℃;
For high borosilicate glass with diameter > Φ100mm, its heat-resistance temperature is no higher than 110℃.
Under constant pressure (20℃-100℃).

Average specific heat: Cp=0.98Jg-1K-1.
